XTool CAN-FD Adapter simply replaces the standard OBD2 Connector of XTool tablet series products. No other software or hardware is required, this adapter can be used with existing software and can replace standard OBD2 connector.
XTool CANFD Adapter is designed for diagnosing ECUs systems of cars with CAN FD protocols. It is used with XTool tablets series products. It is high-performance and easy operation. When the user selects the CANFD model, if current device does not support CANFD communication, the user needs to be prompted to use this CAN FD Adapter to connect.
XTool CAN-FD Adapter supports 2020 and newer model year vehicles using the Controller Area Network Flexible Data-Rate protocol, and is an extension to the original CAN BUS protocol that was specified in ISO 11898-1.
Data rate transmits up to 5 times faster than the original CAN data allowing more data to be sent between modules required on newer vehicles when diagnosing ECUs and programming new modules.
